From 15 to 19 September, the XXI. International Congress on Renal Nutrition and Metabolism (ICRNM) will bring together international experts from the fields of kidney health, nutrition and metabolism in Berlin. MEDICE will also be present at the Estrel Congress Centre, Berlin.

MEDICE will participate in Nephro Update Europe for the second time in 2026. The two-day scientific congress will take place on September 11 and 12, 2026, in Prague and online, providing healthcare professionals with a concise overview of the latest developments in nephrology.

Positive results from the VOICE study have been published for Vafseo® (vadadustat), a medicine from the MEDICE Health Family for the treatment of symptomatic anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Conducted by U.S. Renal Care (USRC) and Akebia Therapeutics, the study evaluated the safety and efficacy of administering Vafseo® three times weekly in patients with end-stage kidney disease receiving haemodialysis in dialysis centres.

The ERA Congress 2026 in Glasgow once again underscored its role as one of the leading international platforms for scientific exchange in nephrology. With a record attendance of 10,670 participants, this year's congress brought together experts from academia, clinical practice, and industry from around the world.
